Former Home and Away star Bren Foster(above) has landed the role of Quinn on Days of Our Lives.
The Actor was born in London and raised in Australia. He will appear in scenes with Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe. Country to recent reports, foster is not a recast for Jay Johnson, who exits the role of Phillip this month.

Bren Foster ( Pictured top) played a criminal in the critically acclaimed southwestern Sydney crime film "Cedar Boys" but has now scored a major gig as new hunk Quinn, on Days of our lives.

Forgive us for thinking "absolute opposites" when it comes to roles, but former Sydney-sider Foster (also pictured below left in Cedar Boys) he's more then happy working on the 46 year old daytime soap. "I will approach this role with the same hard work and passion for acting that i put into any role i do, regardless if it's film or television" he said from LA.

"I'll connect deeply to why i do what i does the character...and i will live truthfully under imaginary circumstances to bring out a great performance in any work i do."

OK,a healthy attitude- and it must be said many DOOL stars have made it big afterwards. Guess you learn heaps in a show shooting seven episodes in five days.

Martial arts life

Bren Foster has been training in the martial arts since the age of 6 and currently hold a 5th dan Back Belt in Taekwondo, 1st dan Black Belt in Hapkido and 1st dan Black belt in Hwarang-do. Bren has also studies Thai Boxing, Brazilian Jiujitsu, freestyle wrestling and knife fighting. Bren has also competed successfully as a body builder by winning the Australian bodybuilding championships earlier in his career.

Bren has won over 150 first place medals and has competetivly fought in over 200 matches ranging from Taekwondo, Kickboxing and full contact Karate.

Bren also uses his talents to entertain audiences with his unique style of board breaking and acrobatic martial arts. He is one of the most in demand martial arts performers earning himself magazine headlines such as "Superkicker" and "Australia's most electrifying martial artist". Bren has also wo the Australian martial Arts Spectacular" for the last 2 years - a professional event where Australia's Elite Martial Artists congregate to demonstrate their skill in competition.

Bren has been inducted into Blitz magazines Hall of Fame as Taekwondo Instructor of the year and currently owns Elite Martial Arts and Fitness Centre, a full time martial arts centre and gymnasium in Sydney, Austrlia

John Brenkhous and Mickey Stern from base Productions noticed Brens skill in martial arts and cast him in their Discovery Channel television show Extreme Martial Arts. Bren joined Base Productions for what he feels is the ultimate martial arts program, Fight Science and Fight Science ( Fight like an animal)

Word today from Soap Opera Digest is that sexy actor, Bren Foster has been added to the the cast of Days of our Lives and thus the hunk quotient in Salem has gone up yet another notch! Foster will soon be seen in the role of Quinn, which was known as “Fletcher” in the casting breakdowns for the new character. Quinn will first be first appear in scenes with Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) in early May.
